need someone to code my m3 cluster for my 335 lmk how much and location im in the boston area but willign to travel as far as NH

I code but unfortunately do not know how to do this, it is much more than a normal coding job. There's probably only a handful of people in the country that know how to do it. I found a post from a year ago by onebadmofo (one of the coding experts on this forum, he has done probably thousands of cars) and even he couldn't figure it out and gave up. If you can find a guide or something for exactly how to do it maybe I can help you out then.

thanks man. patrys@bimmertech does it but hes somewhere in the uk and is charging 300 to do it. i might just give in and send it to him kus i have no idea of ne one who can do it here in NE. where u located? i would love to have my mirror n windows coded

I asked onebadmofo about it, here is his response:

There's a read-only chip called M35080 that contains the VIN and mileage of the car. You need to remove the chip and recode it on stand-alone programmator.

So it involves some special chip reader and soldering. He said he has a guy that can do it in NY, if you really want it done maybe it would be easier to take a road trip down there. Faster and possibly cheaper than sending it to patrys, who is in Poland I believe not UK. Either that or ask around indie shops around here if they know how to do it.

When did he send you that? Based on his comment on this post ->post 14 now he can do it.

Just last night. He probably gets help from his "guy" to do the chip programming part.

Yeah I just got in contact with mofo last night too and he'll do it for 300 so imma go that route my buddies from impressive auto says he's legit n is awesome. I'm still gunna have u code my car though haha just needa find a time slot when I'm not working. Maby you can come down to one of my bbqs sometime in Haverhill it's about 40 minutes from you. Let's get drunk and eat some food!
