My first ever detail! 2010 320D LCI Monaco Blue

Hi,

Just thought i'd post some pics of my car as I haven't really done so in the past. Plus I completed a detail at the end of July, and just added the second last layer of wax on. If you want to read in more detail about the detail please see the wash/wax/detail sub forum, where i have wrote a thorough thread on this. I am also going to put some of these pictures up in the suspension forum, I have an old thread there which I wrote about the ACS springs, but no pics.

Bloody hard work.
But your work paid off. Car is shinning.

About springs, have you actually gained any drop compared to SE suspension?

Thanks It was definitely hard graft!

I just updated my thoughts on the springs in the suspension sub forum. And yes, there was a drop compared to stock SE suspension. It's obviously not the lowest you can go but for me it works as I haven't scraped any speed bumps, and the car goes up my driveway ok. The only time i have scraped my exhaust was when i had a full car and went over those small speed bumps. I think the drop was around 25-30mm but haven't really measured it. For me it looks low enough, compared to the shocking SE height!

Lol the sun really showed them up that day!

There's probably around 10% of the swirls left because I used a low abrasive combination, but hopefully next time when I use a more abrasive combination these should be gone completely.

A bit annoyed about the chip marks but i've saved that for another future project
