Am I leaving anything on the table by not doing intake mod?

Did all the research on the various mods and reviews and dyno tests. I live in a hot climate and I don't like how dci set ups looks. Love the oem look. Currently have a tune and going to have ER fmic Installed this week. The nicer set ups like the afe and the injen are all so pricey and give the same results as a pair of dci. Just wanted to know if I am truly giving up hp and tq because the evidence seems inconclusive.

You'll want at least a modified stock airbox such as the mr.5 intake. At higher boost levels, the stock intake becomes a restriction.
