Tuning Help/advice re: DownPipes & WW Meth
Hi Everyone. I have just had my turbos replaced and I want to step up from just my JB4 and stock motor.
DownPipes I want to run Map2 and I will be buying BMS DCI what ever happens. I know I need DownPipes to run map 2 safely. I am looking at the VSRF DPs FYI I know I will have CEL errors. But I do not want to drive around with any errors what so ever. Would the JB4 prevent any errors upon start up? Or would the following work? and how does it work? And is it easy to install? BMS Downpipe Fix V3 N54 (DP Fix) Downpipes http://www.juiceduptuning.co.uk/shop...duct.asp?ID=44 If I was to run Map 0 (stock) would it drive like stock with the DP? Or would there be running issues? With DPs would I always need to run map2 or 5? WW Meth Kit* Firstly... Can this work just with the BMS DCI? Or are other mods needed? Is it as simple as installing, putting on Map 3, mixing up some fuel and having fun?* How many WOT Runs would a WW Tank last? Could I run Map 1 or 2 the majority of the time and when I want fun, just select map 3 and go crazy? Thanks a lot guys. I know these are NOOB questions... But I just want to be fully aware as I do to think I have really seen answers to these in the threads I have been searching or just need confirmation. Many THANKS *in advance* Josh |

get a trunk mounted meth kit just to be safer. You don't need any mods to run meth, aside from the JB4 of course.

you wont have CEll errors with dps and jb4 set with CAN clearing option on . There is no need for the dpfix nowadays.
You can run whatever map you want with dps. Dont get a WW kit. Trunk mounted with FSB is the best option for safety. There has been leaking with Wind washer tank that could set your car on fire....

Thank you for the response enrita.
Just to clarify. If the CAN clearing is on, then no warning lights will appear on the dash on start up what so ever? Or will it appear and clear after start up? If I was to run meth, I will only go with the ww meth kit from BMS. For ease of installation and removal. I do not want to run lines to the boot. I have yet to hear of any engine bay fires because of the ww meth kit...? Thank you |

Please avoid the ww kit , again there have been cases of fires related to the ww tank leaking . Search and you will find. Your car after all....
