I had an 02' and I miss that damn car. I sold it to my sis who thought it was "cute" so I could make room for the 335, but I'm already having thoughts of buying it back from her...

Possibly one of the most fun cars you will ever own. I owned an '00. I basically agree with all the comments in the thread, especially about S2ki forum members. I still hang out on the forums.

You should have refused to sell it to her. Smart cars and Minis are "cute".

I currently own my second 2001 turbocharged S2000 and it's a great car but I certainly wouldn't have it as my daily driver...it's a bit tight in the cock pit and even with the top up it's loud enough that it's difficult to have a civilized conversation on your cell. It has phenomenal handling and some of the best HID's ever...the AP2's are a bit more daily driver friendly than the AP1's.

The S2K is a great car ... its the Evo of RWD cars ... everything on it is for a purpose, and handling is amazing.

Another car I HIGHLY recommend checking out if its just a weekend sports car is the Lotus Elise. If you think the S2000 handles nice ... you'll crap your self when you drive and Elise / Exige
