JB4 Issue
Seem to be having issue with my jb4 system.
Not getting any codes and i have checked all the connectors twice already and they are all fully connected. Sometimes when I start the car and I go for a spirited drive the car will not boost fully. I am on map 2 and it will barley hit 10psi and you really feel the difference.sometimes switching to map 1 and back to map 2 fixes it,sometimes I have to go to map 0(power off the jb4) and then back to map 2 and the issue is fixed. Sometimes neither of those tricks work and I need to turn the car off and turn it back on. Basically I just play around until it goes back to normal. Let me know what you think Thanks guys |

Check the Overboost Safety PSI. What is it set at? I overboosted one time and JB4 shut off until I shut down my car and started it back up again.
Another cause for having very low boost is a leak somewhere within your piping. Check the chargepipe and intercooler piping, make sure that the connections are sealed and tight.

installed a ER chargepipe and bov today so maybe that was the problem with the stock chargepipe being lose somewhere.
problem is i made the stupid mistake of breaking the nipple off the intake manifold....need to fix this first before continuing on with this problem. thanks for the suggestions anyways |
