So we just installed the JB4 on my car and in the process the little connector that attaches for the steering wheel controls/map changes broke off... so we just bypassed it .. The tune is installed but there is no difference in power so im assuming the chip is just on map 0... is there any way to change the maps without the steering wheel controls? we tried with the pedals and no go.... whats the next step?

That's the power wire. JB4 isn't gonna do crap without powwwaa.

word thats what i assumed alright i guess i gonna get another connector for it the power that bad boy up.... where can i pit up another female connector radio shack?

It's the male that's important as it slides into the green oem connector.
With the broken Female You can just wrap the wire around the oem male wire connector securely for time being. Anywhere sells the connector. Lowes,RadioShack,BMW

yea we picked one up at radio shack and it world great.... didnt get much time to enjot the tune started raining out lol
