BMW performance Power kit review, let's go!

I had the PPK version 1 installed on my car about 2 weeks ago for $599 plus tax. I immediately felt the change as I pulled out of the dealer lot. I feel as if this is the way the car was suppose to feel before the hpfp issue and change. For my daily driving style this upgrade is sufficient for me as I don't track my car but I do love an a spirited drive from time to time. If I wanted a faster car for 10 grand more I'd buy a CPO M3.

BMW verbiage states a change to the exhaust note.

Noticeable?

"The Power Kit also adds a very sporty exhaust burbling noise during engine overrun conditions."

I have a 2008 N54, so I did not notice the burble - I think that's on N55 cars.

I also have an 08 N54 and I get burbling like champagne has bubbles. PPK, BMW Performance Exhaust, and the BMW short shift kit installed and this is one fantastic car.

I think the PPK and the PE were meant to be together! Burbling when I get off the gas and when I'm downshifting and coming to a stop light is very noticeable. I personally love the sound. I get lots of looks and lots of compliments.
