I was driving to Lake George with my fiance Friday night for a friend's wedding when I hear her say "that's a funky orange color on the 135 behind us"...

I quickly look in my rearview mirror and make out the front end of a valencia orange 1M, driven by someone who couldn't have been more than 19 years old. I slowed down to get a closer look at the car, dead sexy. I give the driver a and he looks at me like I have 3 heads. He downshifts and floors it, game on...I'll take the bait.

We get to an open stretch of highway (NY Thruway) after a few minutes of him driving like a 19 year old and I get him to slow down and do a 2nd gear pull. Three honks and we're off: 1 car, 2 cars, 3 cars, 4 cars, and I shut it down...I don't think he knew what hit him. I slowed down to let him catch up and give him some kudos but he just kept going...weaving in and out of traffic/strattling both lanes.

Ohhhh to be 19 and have a 1M!


My fiance's reaction to all of this? "you're an idiot Danny!"
