I have an e92 with m3 suspension bits in the front and soon to have subframe bushings and sway bar in the back. I am looking to get coilovers with camber plates. My budget for these 2 combined is right around 4k. I have a couple options i am looking at but am open to more opinions. Currently im looking at JRZ, Ohlins, Nitron, and Bilstein.

What are you planning to do with the car? Track it? Street driven only?
Bilstein would be fine for street driving. KW series 1-3 would be good too.

If you're going to track your car, you may want to add AST to your list as well.

I've riden/driven in cars with both AST and JRZ (turugara and CJ421).
I know the JRZ setup works VERY well, but I prefer the AST feel vs. JRZ. JRZ allows more body roll (rolls, then takes a set and stays there), but the AST is setup very similar to my JIC-Cross where there is no real body roll. Just my preference. Both cars also have the M3 suspension bits.
I'm sure CJ421 will chime in. I think you also need to change to M3 rear control arms as well.

I'd definitely recommend my JIC-Cross coil-overs if they hadn't gone out of business!
I also have UUC adjustable swaybars. I figured if I'm going to get swaybars, why not get the ones that are adjustable.

Nitron is also a very good shock for a decent price. They may have to play with spring rates as I'm not sure anyone has a setup on a 335 yet. I only know of VAC having them on their e92 M3.

The car is my daily driver but ive always enjoyed a stiffer feeling car. The end goal of these suspension mods is to make my car into a car that i can dd and bring out to a track multiple times a year as well as just help spirited driving in general. So i want something that i can dd on a bit less camber and a relatively soft ride and then change some rebound and/or dampening rates as well as camber and head to the track.

Ive looked at asts and they seem like a good option but ive heard they tend to blow out and need to be rebuilt often?

I have a JRZ damper setup as Rob said. They were a good bit of money but were worth the investment for me. I take my car to road course HPDEs often. If that is not the case then I think you could get away with something less expensive and still achieve the 'quicker' handling you're looking for.

My suggestion, look at a TC Kline setup. They are custom valved Konis and well priced:

You'll be able to end up with a far better handling car than stock in all conditions with that setup + a good alignment.

Of course this is assuming you have good tires ... do you?

I've had my AST 5200's for ~10k miles with approx 7 hours of track time on them and no issues. With that said I'd recommend you take a look at Nitron.
They are a new entry into the BMW suspension world and rumor has it they may be the best bang for your buck damper out there in the price range you mentioned.

I am running 18x8.5 fronts 18x9.5 rear 245/40 front 275/35 rear toyo r888's.

Is there any coilover out there that really jumps out as better than the competition?

I drive my car relatively hard everyday and i want it to perform when i want it to, but i do also attend track days in the area about once a month.

I can personally say that with the AST 5200's, full soft feels very comfortable while full hard is still not harsh, yet significantly tighter. The JRZ'S, as Charles will attest to, are similar in that regard. Given your budget range and choice of brands, you really can't go wrong. Add Moton to your list while your at it.

Talk to Bimmerworld about spring rates. They've been racing the 328i for several years and should be able to make a recommendation for you.

JRZ or Ohlins will give you the best street ride and on track performance.
