Take that quote, ask them to take thr oil off as you'll be supplying it and it'll go down to about £220 plus your oil (use 30% deal at ECP and you can get 8 litres for £55ish

Update, got the car back from the service at SJ main dealer. £358 inc VAT plus about £60 for oil so £420 in total for 3rd oil service, oil filter, air filter, micro filter and spark plugs which was about £200 cheaper than the original quote from my supplying dealer.

They also dropped me off at the station with their shuttle service and left the keys with security so I could pick the car up after work when they were closed. To say it's a breath of fresh air compared to my previous dealings with my supplying dealer is an understatement plus it means I get to keep the full BMW service history which will be good come resale time. I think I've just found my new main dealer.

The BMW technician recommended I used 0W30 too, Mobil 1 ESP 0W30 to be specific which was quite hard to find but I eventually got a good deal from a physical store who advertised on ebay. Called them up and got 8 litres delivered for a good price.

It might also be worth haggling with BMW as when I took the car into the main dealer, the service advisor told me he could have matched the price I got the oil for if I'd asked.
