335i for 20K
Is it possible to buy an 08 MT 335i for 20K with about 100K on it?
Does anyone know someone that's selling? Autotrader lists 07 335i's for like $35K!! Any other recommendations for nice cars for 20K? Thanks |

Black book wholesale for a 2008 335i is 21-23k. If you want to buy a decent one for less than 25k, look to 2007.
I'd sell you my 2008 335i for anything north of 25k, comes with Dinan Stage 2 software, Michelin Pilot Sport tires (new this spring), a second set of winter rims and tires (tires will need replacing after this winter), and every service invoice since new in Oct 2008. And the warranty is still good until the end of Oct. |

ive been shopping around for a family member, more for an 09 so i can get something with some warranty left..dealers around here all seem to want at least 35k, usually closer to 40. and theyre mostly xi or auto.
private ive seen some 08/09's with good milage (under 70) for about 29-33k. Then occasionally ill see a higher mileage 100k+ going for 23-25k. 100-130k is right around the time you will probably have to drop another 1000$ for the water pump/thermostat, or possibly turbo/wastegate issues..so if you do get it out of warranty, make sure you get a decent deal. |

i traded my '07 4-door MT 335i into my dealership (Georgetown Kia) when i bought my '08. the '07 had 127k on it when traded, and we then sold it for around $20k.
was actually purchased by a member on here, N54King.

BMW's are a rip off here in the north. That being said, if you are okay without a vehicle or have an extra, I would say pick one up in the US and save a ton of dough!
They are easily $10-15k cheaper there if you look around. Leases are also half of what we pay; quite frankly it's ridiculous. |
