I ski every weekend in the Rockies west of Banff. My ski car - 2008 335i with Dinan Stage 2 and Nokian Hakkapeliitta R snow tires. 425 lb-ft of torque, RWD.
I love watching all the SUVs with 4wd (and presumably all season tires) upside down in the ditches while I drive by at 120-130kmh. |

I've driven my 335is through 2 winters and didn't have any issues. Get a good set of winter tyres and you'll be fine as others have said. I'm running an 18" square setup on Michelin PS3 Alpins. There's probably better tyres for grip vs. performance out there, however.

Have 19" for summer.
Picked up some nice Replica 17" Rims and Michelin X-Ice last year from OEM Concept. It's winter. Don't be stupid. Change your Tire Size and get winter boots!
