06 w/ logic 7- Is adding a sub worth it?

So my 330i has L7 and the BSW speaker upgrade (all speakers upgraded except the subs)
I really like the sound of my system, but I just happen to have this Sound Ordinance B12 box and a simple little American Pro bass machine 1406 amp laying around. I also have a LOC that I can use.

I guess since I have everything I'm wondering if its worth the trouble to install.

Sometimes I feel like I'm missing the LOW lows- I don't want to thump and annoy the neighbors, just a little fill in.

I'd appreciate hearing from anyone who has just added a sub to the l7- Do you feel it was worth the trouble?

No one has added only a sub to a L7 and has an opinion?

im in the same boat as you.. i feel like my speakers are going out tho since i turn em all the way up.. but do want more bass... Just dont know if its worth going thru it all.

damn just read that whole link.. i will def look into that pnp harness and def do a sub now.. its all in the back no need to run wires !

Thanks, I've read the install threads. I just want to hear from someone who has actually lived with their new sub for a few weeks and get their opinion on if the install was worth the trouble. Strictly a "would you do it again?" kind of thing.

Yeah, I had all my trunk apart this weekend, with my amp, wiring kit, LOC... everything ready to go and just backed out at the last minute. I think if I got an amp with a remote level control I'd go ahead with the install.

Nope... might sell it and look for something with the control. I have it in my e36 and use it all the time.
