Help!!!whats wrong with my car.
Hi everyone
my car idle has a problem. no code. I check valve,spark plug,O2,DCI.its all healthy. I have a video in youtube. Plz hlep me,I have no choice.  thanks veryveryveryvery much. |

What's that ticking noise? is your engine a diesel or you have the infamous valve tick? and about your idle problem it could be your HPFP going bad, but that's a slim possibility if your car is a 2010 but never know.

2010? Why aren't you having the dealer deal with this? Unless you don't have a dealer near you and/or you want to fix it yourself?

If so, please ask your garage reset the throttle adaptation, you can fix the problem, if not, please change your injector, maybe one of them is slightly leaking. |

ya if you know someone with a bt tool, ask them to just reset your throttle adaptations it should do the trick

Little bit of input here from me, not entirely sure what that could be as a lot of small parts can affect idle speed.
However i had a problem with my 02 sensors (i think) no codes where thrown but the idle speed was a little bumpy untill warm, no where as bad as yours. Driving was fine, power was there totally, so im guessing it was running rich. If you havent done already, go to a BMW dealership or a garage and ask them to test the car via the OBD port and that will read the codes from the car if there are any wrong - which looks like there is. |

Sorry Renus, that won't help. The PROcede option 3/3 resets the ECU, so going to an outside service won't help. Other option is disconnect the battery positive cable.
If you remove the PROcede, does the idle still bounce? If not, you may want to flash the PROcede firmware and reload current map. Quote:
