Pro Tuning Freaks E30 Results!

I've been working with Dzenno for the past few months messing with E85 and a variety of different ethanol percentages.

Back on September 1, 2012, I went ahead and had my car dyno'd while Dzenno was still trying to work out a little throttle closure I was getting in the lower rpm range. Here are the results:

Run 1: 381hp/420tq - PTF E30 (90% finished map with some throttle closures down low)
Run 2: 338hp/375tq - COBB OTS Stage 2+
Run 3: 252hp/267tq - Completely stock

After this, Dzenno figured out the throttle closure issues, but we decided to keep pushing for more power up top. I was in the middle of testing an E60 map when my car decided to start smoking like crazy. Now it only smokes after pushing the car hard. Most likely a turbo oil/coolant seal.

I'm currently waiting for the Vargas Stage 2s to arrive before I fix my car.

Next update will be when my car's all fixed up with Vargas Stage 2 & a new PTF map

Very impressive results, I take it this is the E-tune service PTF provides?

I got 360whp on a conservative Mustang with GIAC Stage 2 (93RON maps) + methanol. With 16psi of boost. Doesn't seem like a big difference.

This was without meth. What does a conservative Mustang mean? Do you have a baseline?

What was your baseline?

Great contribution! Thanks! Good thing all Mustang dynos in the world read the exact same and "conservative" isn't subjective at all.

didn't you mention your IATs were in the 140s?

Heh, pretty much everything you can do before a dyno to guarantee bad results, I did. I'll get better dynos when my new turbos get here.

Very nice, I reckon it'll be close to 400 (or even over) on a dyno jet? can't wait to see the E60 results!

I read 15% on top of Mustang numbers to convert to Dynojet. This would be 440whp 483wtq in a Dynojet!! Incredible for no meth!

With meth cooling those 140F temps this can easily be 400+ on a Mustang.

I finally got a meth kit

Yea yea, Dzenno has been hounding me to reinstall my meth kit. I messed up the trunk kit I bought from bms. Need to glue it up, but have been lazy.
