Well wheels are ordered and waiting on delivery.

Need to sort tyres now. Blackcircles prices have really jumped over the past 10 - 14 days. They are a right rip off at the moment IMO

Wheels look good, you should jump for tyres pretty soon as the prices are only going to rise. Try other online places like Mytyres and Pneus. Also try to make sure you get this years stock of new tyres rather than a set that has been sitting around for a year unless they are at a decent discount.

Well after reading all the reviews i have just ordered four VREDESTEIN WINTRAC XTREME 225/45 R17 94 V XL. Instead of trying to save money with cheaper tyres, went with what seemed to be getting the best reviews all around.

Got the best deal through Pneus-online and got a bit of cashback through Quidco.

Get the Vreds. Y rating will do. Do you really need to go above 130mph ?

Back to the drawing board with tyres, Pneus cancelled and refunded my CC payment stating they will only accept a bank transfer.

Personally that sets alarm bells ringing

Well i read somewhere that Goodyear is a new tyre so thought it might be worth it. Are the Vreds that good? I want a tyre thats good in dry/wet and snow, with low tyre wear. They do seem good tyres but how do they compare to say Goodyears?

Also i would like to have the ability to do over 130mph just in case

Shortie (and whoever is ordering tyres soon), I just came across this German tyre site www.reifen.com They have good prices and ship to the UK. For eg, those vred tyres you ordered are £114 each shipped to the UK. I think there is more of a saving with higher priced tyres.
