I know Walmart and a few others do this, not sure about BB. They will allow up to X (typically 3) no-receipt returns in a years time. You get a gift card for the lowest is has been sold at in the past 1-3 months though, so if you don't shop there often, or if your product was for sale for cheap recently, this may not be the best route for you. Also, ethics has a role in your decision to do this as well. Thought I would share though, since the decision is ultimately yours.
