Fitment Question: 17" on 07 E90
Hey guys, kind of in a mad rush to solve my fitment problems. I have been running 19x8.5 +35 and 19x9.5 +22 wrapped in Falken 452 235/35/19 and 265/30/19 for awhile, it was fine. Upgraded to Pilot Super Sports of the same size, now it's rubbing. Due to getting the single turbo kit and the fact that I'm going to a 1/2 mile race this weekend, I really want to remove all potential for rubbing.
I am looking at APEX ARC-8, almost certainly 17". I'm debating between 8.5 +40 or 9 +42 up front, and 9.5 +35 rear. I know the rear will be fine, but I'm also debating tire sizes. I'm leaning towards Hankook RS-3. So my questions are:

You weren't able to get the M3 fitment setup to work on your car? I had the exact same setup with FK452's no issue just like you, and upgraded to the PSS's and they rubbed like crazy, but after some fender work and lifting the car a hair, it rarely ever rubs.

Another idea is to just order new rear wheels in a less aggressive offset. transfer your current tires and sell the rears to make up some of the cost, and the buyer of those wheels can complete his set at a lower cost. Advertise them here or the M3 Forum.
Just another idea.
