Hi there,
it should be 24mm, an open wrench will not work. You need a slightly angled box wrench wich you need to grind at the outside because the clearance between the nut and the steering nuckle is very low. Like this you can loosen the nut by small amounts. And you need the right balljoint puller tool, they sit very firmly. When reinstalling the problem could be that the ball joints turns when trying to tighten the nut (especially when using a new self locking nut), therefore you need a small torx bit to keep the balljoint (I did it using a locking plier to hold the torx bit) from rotating until the conus grips. |

Hey,I did it,but the best way for me was taking the tie rod out,and that way the hole base turn more to the outside, and I was able to get a socket in there, with an extension, this way it was easy for me,I use the 24mm box wrench for the tie rod,I didn't need it for the control arms, this method can help someone out there also, now I will wait couple of weeks and do the alignment.
