About to remove splitters held on by Betalink, tips?

Hey all.

My passenger splitter got scratched up on a curb cuz of my awesome parking skillz.

Im thinking of removing it and getting a kerscher style lip instead... problem is, the splitters were put on using betalink.

does anyone here have any tips, strategy, or suggestions for removing this?

in my head, im planning on taking a heat gun to the splitters and prying them off, and then heat the residue and scrap that off, then wetsand 2000 grit if necessary. is this right?

or is this a lost cause?

thanks for any help!
