E90 320d LCI - Vibration noise between 1500rpm to 2000rpm
Hi All
I thought I'd post my thread in UK section given the majority of the BMW members are diesel owners. I drive a 2011 E90 320d LCI, only done 6000km so far. My 320d has recently starting to generate this "cranking/vibration noise" between 1500rpm to 2000rpm on 1st or 2nd gear, most obvious during a cold start or when the engine is under stressed like going up hill from 1st to 2nd gear. Once I revved past 2000rpm, the noise would magically disappear. Already booked in for a check up at the BMW dealerships under warranty repair. Is this normal at all? What do you reckon it is the main cause? Exhaust, engine suspension, interior trim? Thanks |

I have been busy, haven't had time to book an appointment yet.
Has anyone else experience a similar problem? The noise is quite obvious between 1500rpm to 2000rpm, particularly if I turn on the air conditioner. |

Got the car back from the dealer, it turned out to be loose fuel line / connector. apparently this is a common problem with the pre LCI E90 320d. They fixed it under warranty
