Stripping protection in one spot?
Hey all,
When I did a full polish on my wife's car I started with a citrus wash and clay. But someone in a parking lot left a nasty rub (I think from a purse or bag, it's sort of high) and I want to get just that part. Should I citrus wash the whole car, then seal the whole thing when finished? Or should I use isotropy alcohol or some other solution to strip the sealant in that section?

Just a normal wash would be advised. When you polish just the spot, it will remove any finish that was there.
Depends on your finish product, but if easily enough applied, it's a good time to put another coat on the whole car. |
