I'm looking to have my intake valves cleaned (just over 70k miles, definitely overdue). Does anyone know of any shops in the northern NJ area that can do this? I will travel though if I have to.

I did mine at AKMotorwerk - they are a vendor here and did a really good job!
Contact Alek over there. They had a group buy going on here on the forums earlier this year, I was @ 44k then and mine weren't that dirty but it did make a difference in the car's response. If you like I can post pictures before and after.

Go to Autocouture Motoring in fair lawn nj, they have a legit shop and do great work. I just had mine cleaned there last month. They have a BMW certified master tech on staff.
