Using sky go abroad??
I'm going to the Dominican Republic and am wondering if sky go would work on my iPad?? I'd be using the wifi at the hotel if I could get it to work
My mrs is hoping it won't work, but I was just hoping to watch some football while I'm away(sad I know) |

Sky go doesn't work from a foreign IP. The best way to get it to work is to buy a service that simulates a UK IP address. I used vpnuk.info on my recent trip to Singapore, and it worked fine, there are plenty of others.

Yep, just like the stupid BBC iplayer. The only time I ever need either of them is when I am abroad and they don't work.
Irks me that I should have to pay for some IP spoofing system to use something that I pay handsomely for, just because I am travelling........ |

You can understand why they do it though. BBC iPlayer at least lets you download stuff whilst you're in the UK to watch elsewhere.
