iPhone contacts/Bluetooth
Ive got Bluetooth on my e90 it pairs up with my iPhone 4 without any problem, the only issues I have is when I am going through my contacts, not all my contacts come up on the sat nav screen, would anyone know why this happens??
I was thinking some contacts might be saved to the phone and some to the sim card, should the Bluetooth pick up phone and sim contacts or does it only recognise 1 of them?? |

If you have contacts assigned to groups it will only show the base group I believe.
Mine show the contacts as surname, firstname despite the settings on the iPhone. It used to show them correctly before I had the software update done on the clutch... that's a real pain. |

I don't have any assigned groups on my contacts, just had a look through my contacts via the Bluetooth and very few of them come up on the screen,

From the Bluetooth menu in the car, pairing option if I remember correctly
edit: with the phone active and connected, hold the phone button on the head unit to get the menu, hit BT then check that your phone is showing on scree and hit DELETE on the left. (This is on my non-idrive pro radio) Last edited by Statler; 07-11-2012 at 06:15 AM.. |

Bluetooth Version/Software upgrade
This may or may not be directly related to the topic and definitely not IPHONE but i was wondering if anyone has done a Bluetooth software/version update on their car?
I am unable to transfer my phonebook to Idrive coz of an older bluetooth version that does not support my phone a 100% (samsung SII skyrocket) I went to the dealer but he says it might not be upgradable but i dont believe him Drive a 2009 335XI |

Make sure your contacts have been store to "phone" and not to "Sim card" Keep us posted. Cheers!
