*Planning* - cross drilled brakes and suspension

Hi,

I'm in the process of planning as it's winter and i said i wont do any more mods.

I'm looking to buy a set of rim's prob in may just before it gets warm.

I was considering buying the Koni FSD, but my question would i be able to adjust these in winter time? or is my only solution coil overs?

I'm not looking to go with coils just because I don't do any track and think it might be a bit of a waste. but if i can't adjust the ride height then i'll def. be going this route.

Also Looking to install Cross drilled brakes as I love how these look. (I'll be painting my calipers as well), any suggestions on where i should start looking for these?

I have e90 pre-lci 328i.

cross drilled/slotted rotors won't make a noticeable difference in day to day driving.. changing the pad type will have a much larger affect on braking.

I have the stoptech drilled and they look great and improved fading noticeably.

Would not trust at track because of all the bad rap about cracking drilled rotors.

The FSD-eibach kit are not height adjustable. There may be some options for adjustable springs that are not in a coilover set, but I've not heard of any.

Braking is real good
Looks nice, resists corrosion
No black dust all over the rims 2 days after you clean them!

ECS Tuning also has new Geomet Cross-Drilled/Slotted or just Slotted rotors with special coating so no rust - and they are on sale right now for good price.

They have applications for couple different models - if you're not sure what sizes you have, just email them and they will check. Sometimes even given same model - rotor sizes are year/build date specific.

I ordered a full set for my 328iX...

It's tempting but their shipping is too much for some reason. I needed a part from them and the shipping was almost $25.00 for a part that cost 2.50.

Shipping on the ECS rotors is absolutely FREE!

So no worries there...
