Mr5 intake for E92 coupe
Who has done a Mr5 intake on a coupe and has kept the bar brace that's in the way of where the tube routes? I've heard you can do the intake and keep the bar in place but you have to use a 2.5" tube instead of a 3" tube due to less space? Anyone done this?
Do you have to remove the front bumber when you install the intake and cone filter down near the bumper? What cone filter is the best to use (I have zenons and headlight washers so apparently i need a small one)Also, in addition to the adapter that bolts to the airbox, do you also need to order (2) 2.5" duct cuffs to place on either end of the tube which then fit on the adapter at airbox and filter at the other end? Finally, is the cone filter supposed to be positioned so that air coming into the brake duct gets channeled to it? |
