Visual cues to tell if i have Logic 7?
I'm an owner of a brand new e90 335i. It was a custom order with Sport package, Logic 7 (optional in Canada) and 6FL.
My initial impression of the sound system wasn't that good, i felt it sounded worse, a little more "tinny", than the Premium (Logic) system in my old e46 323i. I plan on messing with the EQ settings in due time but the paranoid side of me wants to make sure everything's here. What i can look for visually that is an obvious sign that Logic 7 is in fact installed on my car and not the standard system? Maybe a speaker located somewhere that on a standard car wouldn't be seen? |

Center channel speaker located on the dash -- Logic 7 has it, standard does not. |

Also the presence of surround modes (cinema, music) and graphic EQ in the menu. If you have both of those it's logic7.

I was going to tell you the exact same thing as the guys above...I wonder why there is no L7 logo on the faceplate?

But the easiest visual cue is to look at the rear doors and see if there are speakers mounted there. |

OP, if you custom ordered it with the L7, then you should have it. If you didn't order it then you don't.
You should adjust the EQ. There is a thread with a pretty good EQ setting somewhere floating around this forum. You should search for it. It does make a difference. GL!

Thanks guys, i do have the center dash speaker, rear door speakers, "Professional" label on head unit and Cinema, Music and EQ modes in the menu... Guess that's enough confirmation, lol. Hopefully tweaking the EQ settings will yeild the better sound im looking for. Rock tracks in particular sound kind of flat right now.
That's odd, i can't find a "Theater" or "Concert" setting in the menu, are those i-Drive exclusive settings? |

Interesting. Must be i-drive vs. no i-drive.
