Real time traffic for Nuvis

Is it true that for Nuvis the only way to connect the lighter adapter/cord for RTTI is through the suction cup mount? I read that in a review on a gps site. That would really suck

and limit options in terms of mounting (or not mounting, as some people do).

It does require a mount but it can use any of the mounts not just the suction cup.
