Style 194 alloys - 17". Anyone got pics on their car?

I've been offered some practically new 194 17" alloys to fit winter tyres to - anyone got pics of these wheels on an e92, preferably black?
Thanks

Im not sure you will find many pics to be honest, they were a default for the E90. Plenty of pics around with those on.

Ah, I see. Thanks for that, means I might change my plans then. Was considering them and putting winters on instead of the standard winter setup offered by BMW of 158's - figuring that I'd potentially get more if I decide to sell in future, but now I reckon it's 6 and 2 x 3's.
cheers

Easy dude.

My E92 has them fitted right now as winters! They do the job perfectly and look alot better than the non M sport variant.

Pic below .. It's not the best as the alloys still have the gummy paste from fitting the winters onto. But it looks well enough.

For what it's worth, I bought them used very cheap (Sub 300 for the set with tyres, which I subsequently removed) from this forum. I figured it was a good midpoint between style and cost, certainly alot better than the 16" steels BMW offer or the standard 16" E90 wheel.

The tyres are worth over £1000, but I don't ever plan to sell this setup. Assuming that the same alloy will fit onto the 4 series when released: I'll be needing them for the next car in any case!

£1000 Megster for 17" winter tyres? lol Wow thats crazy expensive.

The E92 looks not to bad on those. Defo worth a look OP if the price is right.

And man that looks low on the back!

Vredestein Wintrac Xtreme's, staggered fitment.

It was the winter 2 years ago I bought them, and I ordered them in November. So I know I paid a massive premium but I'd been stranded in my street for 10 days or so and needed it sorting!!!

200 each for the fronts and almost 300 each for the rears

ps. the rears have since been replaced with Nokian WR A3s which were I think about 170 each from tyremen. Can't remember if it was last winter or the ones before. Fronts still got plenty of life.

Its crazy how much premiums vendors ask around winter!.

How are you finding the Nokians? A heads up,

MY tyres.co.uk do the Nokians for cheap its like £100ish for 235/35/19's. Not sure sure on 17's pricing.

But hopefully should be cheaper.

Is that the WR A3? Not one of the cheaper ones?

That's an extremely strong price if so. Like I said I paid 170 or so last winter for my 245/40/17s

They are a touch, and I'll repeat a touchm worse than the Vreds if I'm being honest when NOT in snow or ice conditions.

The great thing about the Vreds is in 9 degree heat on a dry day you can still more or less floor it and get around.

The WR A3s are just as good on ice, very progressive when you do drift and very easy to gain traction from standing. So on that front I'm very happy with them.

I ordered them when I couldn't get any Vreds for love nor money - and considered replacing them this year if not good enough. I'm happy not to bother replacing them now. They'll only last one more winter I imagine. Perhaps two, if it's cold enough not to burn them too quick.

So clean mega , for this time of year

Lookin good still

I hate the 17s on mine, I loath putting them on, only at the last minute and signs of -4c recently, yet no snow. On the plus side, the vreds work phenomenally well when it does snow so I sacrifice the looks for 3 months just so I don't get my brogues wet

Sadly can't see the E90 wheels fitting the new 4 Series as the E90 wheels don't fit the F30/31.

Really? Offsets just totally out? I take it bolt pattern at least is still the same?

I'd have thought the 17s would go on with a spacer as they are so narrow.. Who knows...

Dunno , discussed this recently on F30post as I was asking if 18" MV3 would suit an F31 and the opinion seemed to be that wheels could not be swapped over and also standard tyre sizes are different.

Decision made - saw some nearly new 158's (no marks, 8mm tread) on eBay yesterday for £699 so couldn't turn it down. Pick them up at weekend, local dealer will fit them for me and store my 19's.
