Help: TPMS & V715 wheels
OK, I need some help here. I just received my 19" V715 wheels this morning. I took everything over to the shop to have installed. Well, I get a call saying that the TPMS that I ordered from BMW are not going to work on my new wheels. That there is no cut out or place to install them.
Can someone help me out here and maybe direct me as to where to have them installed. Any input would be appreciated. Also, I did do a search and I didn't find anything. Thanks.

Send the wheels back and get the right ones!!! I have V715's and the TPMs went on like any other BMW wheel.
Maybe they messed your set up. Either that or your wheel shop doesnt know what they are talking about. Good luck! D |

You DO NOT need any kind of kit for these wheels. I watched them mount and install mine... Just the standard TPM.
Take them to another place to get installed. And post some pics when they are on!!!! D |

I got the call and they are going to be able to mount the OEM TPMS on the wheels. It is just a different set up then they are used to seeing.
Thanks for everyones input and I will definitely post some pics as soon as I can.

Some TPMS attach by the valve stem passing through it, and tightening against the wheel, thus securing it in place. Others are attached via a strap kit (http://www.tirerack.com/accessories/categories/tpms.jsp)
Double check that the tire shop knows what type you have and how to install them.
