Has anybody logged oil pressure on the track?
Anybody have any idea what N54 cars are maintaining for oil pressure in sweepers, sustained lefts, etc on r-comps, R1's, or slicks? I can't log oil pressure on the Cobb (if I can, I'm missing it) so I will probably be running a mechanical oil pressure gauge just to keep an eye on it.
Until I do that, has anyone already done this and can ease my fears about low pressure in sustained left hand turns @ 255-265F oil temps? I'm using the 0w-40 Mobil 1 group IV synthetic right now. Do I need to go to a thicker oil? Does anyone do baffled oil pans for N54's? Anybody mounted an accusump? Thanks all. |

Sorry, I came close with oil temp. That's a good one (oil pressure) to log. I will check when I get home if I can get that off the CAN bus. If I can, I will be sure to start logging that and I will post here on e90post.
