Yesterday's Job... LED's & Wheels
(deep breath .. nervous after the last thread I started)
Got my new wheels fitted type 313 reps from ******** - really pleased with them and great Customer service! Also fitted LED halos.. opted for the 4x2.5w from SSDD motorsport ... I think these are good value for money... I am under no illusion that these are close to LCI, but a nice change. The second halo isn't as illuminated depending on your view, but happy with them fitted. Few before and after pics ... Next ... replacement radio (LCD bust), BBK and Suspension kit ... I wish ... next is paying for Christmas, and getting the Jeep a new fuel tank .. carpet ... decorating ... no more mods for me for a while. |

Some reps look really good, the 313 reps I have seen unfortunately do not look that good.
I too prefer your old rims!!! OEM 313's look Shamazing!

I'm very jealous of your garage ,mines a standard integral single and theres no way the e92 would fit in ,Ive got a mk1mr2 in there atm and its a struggle to get in and out
Ive tried a few different led's for the angels and they either too dim or too bright and the light poluting the first chamber and the second chamber being too dim ,in the end I settled for posh gp thunder bulbs |

Looks lovely. Out of interest, how are these reps different to OEMs?
Im thinking about doing the LED change. Can anybody point me in the right direction of getting OEM style LED's? |

thanks for the comments guys ... due to peer pressure I'm going to see how it looks without the flaps
The original wheels are badly in need of some attention, so will be a nice change for a while. @norman1979: small differences in the design, construction, and finish.. and of course price - I couldn't justify the 2k+ for me to kerb... for the OEM LEDs, (if your pre-LCI) best bet is to look on the German eBay site for a LCI conversion kit. |
