My one-off dual gauge pod project
After seeing some of the gauge set-ups on here I thought i'd give it a shot as well. I made my own gauge set up on the lexus and now im working on one for the bmw.
I used the OEM sunglass holder as the base of the project. After a few measurements and cutting/trimming, I came up with this result- Dual, angled 2 1/16" gauges with closing lid -I am not using the gauge in the pictures once its finished. That was just for testing purposes. -I still have to make the mount for the gauges to hold them in place. Going to see if I can find a nice piece of plastic around the shop tomorrow to use as the template. -I already ordered the boost gauge to fill one of the holes, but still trying to decide on a wideband for the other hole. Might just end up with AEM. -Sorry for the camera phone pics...
