2007 320d 163bhp slight jerk now and then...

my 320d has a slight misfire feeling now and then mainly at low revs,

changed the air flow meter, changed and cleaned and coded injectors, egr is fine also, air filter is new so is fuel filter

its not a constant misfire just a slight jolt now and then at different rev ranges ( but mainly low revs)

you can also feel an occasional stutter on tickover

any help or thoughts??

Be interested in this as mine has like a slight miss on tickover occasionally and very noticeable first thing in the morning maybe more so in the cold.

Have you a tuning box fitted?
This made mine stutter when driving, removed it and ran sweet as a nut.
I also replaced a relay in the engine bay,

Bmw part no 61366915327 it controls the fuel pump. If it is not working right you will maybe be getting fuelling problems, its £10 worth a try.

My car is remapped and its not a problem with the map, do you reckon the relay is worth a go?

The 163 is the same engine that was in the e46, so they suffer the same problems,
Bmw redesigned the engine for the lci e90.

Get on the e46 Forums and have a look.
