GoPro3 Black edition

Anyone have the GoPro3 Black edition?
I am planning to get one but not sure what size sd card to get. I always tend to get more than I need. I will mainly use the camera to film while snowboarding.

I have been reading that battery life is short. Would it be wise to buy the battery pack?

Please let me know your experiences with it.

i got a gopro 3 silver for christmas and got a 16gb micro sd but i think im going to get a 32gb in a few weeks, rather have more storage than less

Yeah. I think 32 will be sufficient for my needs.

I have gopro 2, but I say 32gb they're cheap and the space will outlast the battery life. I now keep 3 batteries and two 32gb sd cards. also make sure they are class 10.

Best features about the Black and Silver is controlling the GoPro via wifi. So while you're snowboarding you could start/Stop recording with a push of a button from phone. Useful if you have the GoPro mounted to your helmet

Look up youtube comparisons on footage for the Hero 3.

I just picked up the black Edition a few weeks back and have used it a few times here and there. I am fishing in an offshore tournament this weekend so am planning on using it all weekend. I've been very happy with the footage so far. I will have to double check but I believe my card is a 32 GB.

I saw on the GoPro Facebook page that a lot of people were have problems with the GoPro Hero 3 freezing.
