unknown service light

what is this service warning light, and why isn't it in my owner's manual?

could be "time to change brake fluid". Mine has a date like this on the CBS. Should be roughly two years from last change.

Brake fluid service if yellow, some sort of brake failure that needs immediate attention if red. If you keep the service button pushed for a while when this is showing, it'll give you a ccid code that you can google for more details.

It appears that you are 2 months overdue for a brake fluid change. (See Service Requirements in your manual - p77~78 in the online 2007 version.)
