car looks awesome.
Love those wheels, and I see you got the jlevi lips? I wanted to see those. Looking good. Hows the ride on 19s? Rougher? Nosier? I want 19s but I'm afraid to loose one or more on a pothole here in new england |

The ride is actually pretty good. I think oddly enough it's improved and is quieter. That might just be coming from runflats to non runflat but i definitely prefer it to the previous ride.

pSmitty - what is the measurement of the gap? and, what is the measurement of from the center of the wheel to the fender? I am thinking about doing a similar set up and would rather not lower it.

Edit: Wheel to fender is around 14" and the fender to top of the wheel is about 1.75"

Dude
I love you. Thanks for posting up, this has ALWAYS been on the back of my mind--and as you said, not that bad.

thanks psmitty. I have a 2009 335i xdrive sedan as well. It does not have the sport package so i wanted to make sure our suspension measurements were the same (which they are). I will doing the same staggered tire set you have with 19" sportline CS.16 wheels. Very similar to your Alufelgen, but these are powdercoated rather than painted.
I was nervous the gap was going to ugly, but it looks fine on yours. I also dont want to spend the money on coilovers or be cheap with lowering springs that will increase the wear on my oem shocks. I agree with your earlier posts...the e90 doesnt seem to be as raised as the e92. thanks again. your set up looks great. |

I believe so. Not 100% sure since i'm not the original owners but these are the typical e90 fitment that you get from alufelgen which i'm pretty sure is front and rear.
Good news everyone, KW v1's just arrived so now they just need to be installed. I'm debating whether to get it done soon or wait until spring.

NICE! Car looks amazing! Congrats on the KWs too!
If you take the wheels off, perhaps there are width and offset markings somewhere? Would love to know the exact specs. I'm window shopping for next season, this thread really helped me picture the stock height with 19s! |

Logically, you'd probably want to wait until spring to throw them on, but it might be too long to wait! Nice car, we have almost the exact same setup lol

Is the only reason to wait until spring for the alignment with summer tires? I might just throw on the summers when the suspension is getting installed... Hahaha that's a good thing cause your car looks great Hopefully next up for me is msport sometime soon

Oh ok i'll check next time I throw on the wheels which will probably be whenever I can get the KW's done. Either that or this weekend i'll take them out and take a look on the inside. Thanks, still long from being done. In terms of cosmetics my dream list is msport front/rear, maybe csl trunk, duke dynamics powervented hood, and then maybe a matte blue vinyl wrap when everything is done.
