Cost of Various Gasket Replacement Jobs 335i

Curious to what people are paying for the following gasket replacement jobs:

1. Rear Main Seal
2. Oil Pan Gasket
3. Oil Filter Housing Gasket
4. Valve Cover Gasket

Incredible that my car with only 63k (08 335i e92) on the clock needed all these gaskets replaced.

The valve cover gasket ran me $500 on my 325. Not sure about the other ones but I know the oil pan gasket will be pricy in terms of labor. The front subframe needs to be dropped. The oil filer housing gasket is super easy to replace. You may want to do that yourself. The rear main seal is tricky. You might want to leave that alone if its not leaking badly.

Well mine was 1000$ (885$+txs)

The cover is in PLASTIC, cracks are common and it needed to be replaced. They charged me 3 hours.

Garage List
vcg was 780 at the dealer, after "senior citizen discount" (for cars with mileage above 75k).

if you are at all DIY inclined, the oil filter housing gasket is doable. Dealer wanted 450 for it, I will DIY instead.

The better question is how they know the rear main is leaking and the oil pan gasket at the same time the others are since they all collect on/around the oil pan. Start high..have them clean off the engine properly..then see what returns.
