Looks to me that both the iDrive and OBC are showing the same thing - the oil level is fine.

"OK" means Ok. Means the oil level is safe for normal engine operation. You got two OK's. There is only one oil sensor, so the data that is used is the same for both readouts.

Forget the OK read the graph and keep track.

forget the OK read the graph and keep track if you want to see
problems coming and correct them before there is a problem.
The Sensor data comes from the same sensor how can it ever be different also they are showing the same as they should.

thanks everyone, I thought the one on the left was a bar lower than full, just seemed weird that there seems to be extra space there lol

Extra space shows if it's been overfilled.

Exactly. If that last bar on the right is lit, then the oil is over-filled - which BMW specifically recommends against.

So you have no worries.

The bar graph on the dash is meant to emulate the area on a traditional mechanical dipstick has where the oil level is in the safe range between the upper mark (Max.) and lower mark (Min.). On some dipsticks it is the "hatchmark" area. On most BMW mechanical dipsticks it is the area between the lower line and upper line. The bar graph is showing the quantity (level) of the top quart (i.e. the 7th quart) of oil in the sump.
