i was wondering the same thing. where were you quoted for 300? I was quoted for 400 for sides and back and 6 if i wanted to do 70% on the windshield.

forgot to mention that from what i've read, the crystalline is supposedly a thinner film but has better heat rejection. think that's why it's more expensive. I'm not positive tho.

I dont think OP is talking about Crystalline, it costs > $500 easily. But yeah its the best you can easily make out the difference driving in sun.
Per my exp 3M was always costlier than other products eeverywhere i checked in Jersey. |

I just want a decent tint that's going to stay on for 4 years or so and is not going to get scratched up aor turn pink. I'm in New York metro area so heat's not that much of a concern. so if 3m is pricier is it also better or not? thx

I have always had LLumar tint on my vehicles and haven't had a single complaint. I paid less than $200 for all windows done (minus windshield) from Shades of Gray in Feasterville, PA.

I had Llumar on my last car never had any problems, it's a good looking tint almost looks smoked under the sun. The 3M i have now on my 335 seems lighter than the Llumar IMO. Hit up Joe at the tint shop in Great Neck. He carries 3m and Crystalline there and can show you the difference in person.

for those following this up, that place quoted ~$200 for digi.. not quite sure i wanna go with that film tho. llumar seems to win out and i dont see how 3m warrants an extra $100.. maybe it does, but i am yet to see why and how..

it could also have to do with warranties as it did with my installation. For 3m it was about $100 more but came with lifetime warranty and the kicker was that any 3m building would do warranty work if say the shop I went to ever went under
