Are these LED angel eyes with 8000k HIDs? Or if not what is this setup?

You'll never know for sure but they look like LED Bulbs..you can tell the halos weren't replaced because they aren't consistant from an angle. They could be LUX or Mtech or even Ebay brand lol but they look too bright to be ebay..my money is on Mtech bulbs

Those look like aftermarket DEPO headlights (Junk). You will want to do something like I have (OSS Blackout)

Never looked that closely....do the LCI cars have LED angel eyes which look the same from an angle, i.e. swapping out the H8 bulb does not create the same look?

If I had to guess I'd say they are Alpines, but I'm pretty sure that photo was probably taken with some effects on dslr.

dumb question here since Im still pretty new to BMW and havent looked at the headlights yet.
Are the angel eyes and the actual headlights different bulbs?

Or if I buy an angel eye kit from LUX does it make everything look 8000k or just the angel eyes?

ooks like cheap racing dash angel eyes for pre-lci. pretty much a blue halo.

I think what he means is that the actual angel eye ring is replaced on the newer cars with the bright angel eyes equipped...

Yes the angel eyes and the actual headlights are different bulbs. I don't know specifics for an E90, but there are official bulb lists on this forum.

LUX color temp is 6500K, so it's more white than blue. It also is only for the angel eyes since there are different bulbs for the headlights. I would say that you're pretty accurate in guessing it is 8000K there.

im actually thinking about getting some depo v2, what makes you think they are junk they look pretty solid and very bright

depo headlights v1, v2, v3trillion are all junk and look like bootleg quality knockoffs when you actually look at them.

Pure Junk. Speaking from experience. Leak like hell in the rain or washing car,throw error codes, horrible cutoff. Need I say more.

look like oem euro with an led AE bulb. I would go OSS blackout (got my appointment next week )
