Anyone know of a good window tint person in the Eastbay? Looking for someone who can do a good job. I have seen that most E92's have problems around the dot matrix patterns on the rear window. KNow of anyone that can do this with no problems? Thanks in advance.

Very professional shop, I heard a rumor Sydney has some contract with BMWSF (not sure tho).

When I first called, he mentioned the dot matrix issue before I even brought it up. We decided to go with a black strip of vinyl over the area and I couldnt be happier with the results.

just wondering did any of you guys have problems with streaks on the tint from rolling windows up and down later? my tinter says it happens on german cars and some forums saying moleskin tint protectors were needed.

looks pretty permanent to me. more pronounced on the front two windows as they are rolled up and down more frequently. no change after multiple washes and it's been about 5 months. i'll get a pic up here soon.

kind of like scratches right? I have those on my car with 3m colorstable tints

Never noticed that on mine, I've gone to WindowTintingPlus for both cars now.

So these aren't the clearest of pictures. I think it will come out better in sunlight without the flash.

If you look top-center of the window, you will see the streaks. They run vertically and are all throughout the window.

yup, i have the same issue. I learned to live with it though...

The moleskin will help with the streaking but wont completely eliminate it.
