I have hi-fi in my coupe, and realized that the sound image seems to be skewed to the passenger side so I have to change the balance to be 3-4 notches to right in the Tune setting.

This cannot be normal? Is it something that I need to take the car to the dealership?

Is your left and right balance set to zero as well
as your faders . Have you tried setting each of these controls
to maximum to see that each speaker is working?
Have you had someone else sit in the car and verify your observations maybe one of your ears could be the problem?
Also what is the source you are using?
If you have warranty why not take it in.
