e92 aftermarket head unit/dvd player

does anybody have any experience installing or getting an aftermarket head unit in their e92 with logic 7? i heard something about the e92 having some kind of fiber optics. any suggestions?

Fiber optic or not, it must have some connection beyond the typical since it can display trip computer information. The exact same information and reset capability is repeated in the instrument cluster and left stalk.
