Question Will tail light LED bulbs report as a fault?

I've got a light warning on my 06 330xi but all the lights are working fine. Went poking and it looks like 1 of the 4 bulbs in the read left is blackened but still working. I hear that the warning indicator is based on the resistance of the bulbs. When it gets out of tolerance it reports it as a fault. If I were to replace that bulb (or a number of bulbs while I'm at it) with LED replacement bulbs would the computer detect them as faults since they likely won't draw the same power as a standard incandescent bulb?
