So I performed a muffler delete about half a year ago, and I've noticed an annoying rattling/vibrating at low rpm ranges. The rattling seems to be coming from the rear fold-down seats or the rear center console/ashtray thing in the back of my E92. It may be the exhaust itself, I'm not sure

It's starting to really bother me, and was wondering if anyone knows of this issue or what a fix may be, or at least how to approach it to get rid of the rattling.. Besides that it sounds great!

Any ideas?

Stuff a small towel in the rear center console to eliminate some of that rattle...Its just one of the cons of getting an exhaust...Increase resonance in the cabin area leading to some annoying rattles and noise.

Have someone else drive your car and you search for the rattles, get some tools, unloosen whatever is reachable and tighten them again or the towel.

My cousin in-laws civic with 2 12's finally got to rattling and is regretting it, makes the car seem more cheaper.

Yeah everyone with a muffler delete has this issue....it brought out vibrations and rattles in my car that I never had before the delete...

Try stuffing a towel in the rear passenger storage as some ppl said that helps...But I even hear rattles in other places so to be honest its gonna be hard to get them all...

P.S. I got a ticket with the muffler delete about 6 months ago and had to take it off and put back the stock mufflers....boy that was so nice to drive the car quiet and without rattles...thats another option!
