Chuckwalla Valley Raceway, March 16-17 2013

BMW CCA San Diego Chapter Chuckwalla Valley Raceway Driving School

This school will also combine a club racing event I believe. It will be a great opportunity to watch some exciting races between sessions.

For those of you who has not been to Chuckwalla, the best I can describe it is it's like Buttonwillow except the surface is smooth. It's technical, challenging, yet fun.

Due to the club racing format, the students will be divided up into Advanced, Intermediate, and Novice groups. This school typically fills up and fills up quick, so get your registration in early to ensure a spot.

Of course not. Convertibles without roll-cages has never been allowed to participate with BMW CCA driving events on track.

It'll be fun. It's a nice track and you may recognize some features of the track, it's been in multiple commercials and car review videos.

The Hack - I see the hotel has those days blocked out. Do we contact the hotel and say we are booking for the CCA LA event to get a room? TIA

Check with the San Diego chapter, I believe there's a tennis tournament going on that weekend. You can try Palm Springs or Palm Desert too, it's a little further out but no matter where you stay it's gong to be at least 50 minutes away from the track.

Thinking about coming out for my first track event. I'm assuming I have to join the BMW CCA first?

I signed up last night and saw that the rooms are blocked out for SD CCA until March 1. I'm looking forward to two days of learning and fun.
