New Matte Black CSL Reps

I just got my CSL reps today, I will have tireshop mount it tomorrow...

Do I need to apply wheel wax/sealant before they mount? I have matte black... it looks like the rims will be shiny if i apply wax/sealant... and i dont want it shiny...

or just leave it alone and do normal wash when the car washing the car...
